I have to admit…I have severely slacked on transcribing musicians that DON’T play the saxophone. That’s until I started shedding Clifford Brown!! I love how clean his lines are…I feel like I can digest his vocabulary easily…and I love his articulations. I’ll be trying to implement some of his overall ideas into my own playing.
