If you have never heard of Baptiste Herbin…you MUST go check him out. I first heard of him on youtube playing over There Will Never Be Another You. I transcribed bits and pieces of the solo to learn through the keys. My “lick of the week” is from a recording he did with Makar Kashitsyn (another killin’ saxophonist) of On Green Dolphin Street. He is an absolute monster!!! I even went out and bought a Vandoren V16 S+ mouthpiece (even though I’m perfectly content with my Drake). Check him out!
